Ralph Langton, a well known resident of the eastern section, died Saturday night at his home, 268 County Street, after a long illness. He was in his 77th years, Mr. Langton was born in England, coming to this country 37 years ago. He settled in this city and had made his home here ever since. He was for many years an active member of the Loomfixers' union. Mr. Langton had a wide circle of friends throughout the community by whom he was held in high esteem. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary A. (Nixon) Langton; four sons, Henry, Samuel, and John of this city and Ralph of Detroit, Mich; two daughters, Mrs. Henry Marsden and Mrs. John Lord; nine grandchildren; eight (great) grandchildren and one brother, Henry J Langton. Funeral services will be held at his late home at 2 tomorrow afternoon.

Mrs. Mary A. A. (Nixon) Langton, 268 County Street, widow of Ralph Langton, died at her home yesterday after a brief illness in her 81st year. Mrs. Langton, a native of England, came to this country 45 years ago. She was a communicant of the Sykes Primitive Methodist Church and a member of the Ladies' Progressive Class.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Margaret A. Marsden and Mrs. Elizabeth A Lord, four sons, Ralph of Detroit and Henry, Samuel, and John Langton of this city; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
